"I attended a diversity session at the 2003 International ASTD conference facilitated by Jim Smith, Jr. It was highly engaging, fun and I was able take away many ideas to incorporate into my training sessions at the workplace. Jim’s style was so enjoyable for the next three years that I attended the International conference, the first thing I did was check to see if Jim was presenting, and I was not alone. His sessions were always full to capacity and beyond. Even with many people in the sessions, Jim had us participate in small group activities, many of which I still use today.
