Join Matt Elwell and learn how to maximize the value of the first 15 minutes of any live training!

Icebreakers are the gasoline of live training. Handled the right way, under the right conditions, for the right purpose, they can really get your training headed in the right direction. Otherwise... well... boom.

On August 20th, at Alverno College, we'll define key considerations for selecting/designing, customizing, facilitating, and debriefing icebreakers to maximize their value to the overall learning experience.

Together, we'll answer the following questions: ·

  • How do icebreakers improve the retention and application of learning?
  • How can we compare the icebreaker's cost to that of the entire experience?
  • How can we determine the icebreaker's net benefit?
  • Most importantly, how do we maximize the net benefit, evaluate, and articulate the icebreaker's impact on the overall learning experience?
