Each of us is born with a Unique Ability. Our Unique Ability is the essence of what we love to do, in all areas of life. It can be applied to many different situations, activities and opportunities. It’s “factory installed” meaning that each of us has been doing it since we were young, yet it’s so fundamental to who we are and comes so naturally, we may not realize what it is or see it as valuable. The good news: other people see it and seek us out for it.

Discover your Unique Ability and uncover an endless source of energy that only improves the more you apply it. Adapted from the book “Unique Ability Discovery 2.0” by Catherine Normura, Julia Waller and Shannon Waller, this session outlines a process for identifying your Unique Ability and explores the implications of building teams around your people’s ultimate strengths.

AJ Kruse is the Concept Illustrator at humanworks. AJ was born to gain understandings and find improvements that he can organize and share with others. He needs to make things make sense, not only for himself, but for you as well. His resilient curiosity is illuminated by people and discovering how they work.

This quality, along with his knack for joining backstage design and front stage presentation, has guided him through a dynamic professional career that began in elementary education and has continued in organizational development. After making the leap to corporate education, AJ led learning & development at two Milwaukee area businesses before co-launching humanworks.
